Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of The Warehouse Church - VA based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
The Word
We believe the Word of God, the Holy Bible, is the foundation of our beliefs. We believe the Bible was written by people who were divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is without error and is the complete and final authority of all doctrinal truths.

God the Father
Jesus Christ
Holy Spirit
We believe the God of the Bible is Who we worship. He is the One and only living and true God who is eternal and Creator of the universe. He reveals Himself in three persons as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 40:28
Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 40:28
We believe the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin and performed miracles. He was the only man that lived a sinless life on earth and died on a cross for all people as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and will return again to rule with power and glory.
Isaiah 7:14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 3:5; Matthew 28:5-6
Isaiah 7:14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 3:5; Matthew 28:5-6
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is in the world in order to convict people of their sin and to draw them to Jesus. He indwells each believer to teach and guide them into all truth. With power, He desires to supernaturally work through His people to build God's kingdom on earth.
John 14:26; John 16:13-14; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
John 14:26; John 16:13-14; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
Man
We believe man was created by God to reflect His image and have a personal relationship with Him. However, because of man’s disobedience against the will of God, sin entered into the world and broke this relationship that God intended. Man is incapable of restoring this relationship on his own. But God in His mercy provided a way for man to be reconciled to Him.

Salvation
Sactification
We believe salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone and is God’s way to restore the relationship between God and man. This salvation is a free gift from God to man but he must choose to accept it by recognizing his need for God. It cannot be earned by our good behavior or deeds.
John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9
John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe in the process of sanctification. Salvation is the beginning of our walk with God. Sanctification is the ongoing process of surrendering to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us.
2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:13
2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:13
Eternity
We believe the soul of man is eternal. God’s desire is for man to be with Him and to enjoy Him forever in heaven. It is man’s choice to accept God’s gift of salvation and spend eternity with Him or be eternally separated from God in hell.

We believe the Church is a living and dynamic worldwide fellowship of born again believers. Our mission is to bring people into an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to be a light in a dark world where people need Him and His salvation.
